If you otherwise are unable to support, please consider saving my contact ​information for any notary, or cleaning needs. I am licensed, bonded, & ​insured for both other companies. A big supporter that helps me manage this ​rescue owns an asbestos/demo company as well, so utilizing any of our ​services will also support the rescue.

Please note that adoptions are NOT instant. You must be vetted to take any ​cats home. This requires an application, ID, & a house visit may be required. ​You must have permission to adopt & you must provide sufficient proof that ​you do, & that you can take care of your animals.

Cats & kittens become adopted once they’ve had at least their first round of ​vaccinations, healed from surgery, tested for fiv/felv, & otherwise in good health. ​If any health issues are found, it will be clear in their adoption paperwork. You can ​however claim a cat or kitten with a deposit, and you can adopt them once they’re ​ready & you’re approved.

After 12 weeks, as long as all other qualifications are met. Fosters can apply ​directly if you’re interested. All cats & kittens are treated for fleas, ticks, & worms. ​Sometimes multiple treatments for worms are needed. They are spayed/neutered ​& tested for fiv/felv & have received at least the first round of shots.

We are also in need of transporters, appointment sitters, and anyone ​interested in caring for these cats at my home in Evan’s City, Pa. Donations ​are welcome as both supplies & monetary.

Yes! Katie’s Cat Rescue is listed in the state of Pennsylvania, as a “Domestic Non ​Profit Corporatio.” I am currently waiting on my official 501(c)(3) letter, but I ​make far under $50,000 so I am able to accept donations in the meantime!

I am open for intakes, as well as assistance in trapping, although I’m not yet ​experienced with trapping or TNR.
